GOOD TO KNOW
A few quick answers.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Validation and conversion happen locally in this browser tab. Files are not sent to a server.
Which formats and limits are supported?
You can add JPG, PNG, WebP, and a safe subset of SVG images, up to 20 files at a time and 25 MB per file (50 MB of SVG per session). SVG inputs are rasterized to bitmap formats. SVG output embeds a PNG image and does not create vector artwork. Outputs are limited to 4,096 px per side and 16,777,216 pixels. Converted files are held locally up to 256 MB per session.
What happens to SVG files?
SVG files are parsed locally and only supported vector shapes and local gradients are accepted. Accepted SVGs are rasterized to JPG, PNG, or WebP. You can also export any image inside an SVG container with an embedded PNG; this remains raster artwork, not vectorization. Imported SVG scripts, text elements, embedded images, filters, CSS styling, external references, and non-pixel physical units are not supported.
What should I know before converting to JPG?
JPG does not support transparency, so transparent areas may appear with a solid background. Quality and file size also vary by browser and image.
